New Landscaping Machines

 so, after all the work I've done, these giant machines are just the ticket!!!

bwahahaha...

well, in reality the town is beginning work on Bowers School.  Going to enlarge and enhance it instead of closing it.  I'm one of the many who argued for it's retention.  Neighborhood schools are the lifeblood of the neighborhoods.  These mammoth, impersonal grammar schools are the death of community and short-change our students.  So, we took a stand and we won.  Sadly, two of the schools in the poorest sections of town were already converted.  It's a mistake, always was and those who have the hardest time recovering from a rough start got the short end of the stick.  Again.  Naturally, the town leaders did not start with the richest schools...  and they keep getting re-elected.

Ah, but we saved Bowers and the transformation has begun:

I sat outside on the patio this morning with my tea and puppies and watched them work.  It was noisy but fascinating.
